Ivermectin and fenbendazole are two distinct anti-parasitic medications that have recently gained attention for their potential role in cancer treatment.

• Ivermectin is a widely used, FDA-approved antiparasitic medication for humans (used to treat river blindness, strongyloidiasis) and animals.

• Fenbendazole is a benzimidazole anthelmintic commonly used as a broad-spectrum dewormer in veterinary medicine (e.g., dogs, cats, horses). It is not FDA-approved for human use.  Mebendazole still holds a patent and therefore is FDA approved for human use and is practically identical to Fenbendazole
